We had breakfast at Gesmo Restaurant and German Bakery located on Fort Road, Leh on September 19, 2013. The small eatery with three short columns and three rows of tables was noisy. The eatery serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The waiter was not accommodating. We ordered whole wheat sandwich (INR 110) with butter. Although the waiter agreed to serve whole wheat bread and butter, he served white bread sandwich with margarine. The glass of pine apple juice (INR 70 per glass) was nothing to write about. The potato-onion-parantha (flat stuffed Indian bread) (INR 30 per piece) was just okay. Portion of fresh plain curds (INR 60 per bowl) was generous.
We did not eat at this eatery again during our long Leh trip in 2013.
