Payable to Government of Uttarakhand
- Peak fee (PF)
- Camping site and trail management fee (CSTMF)
- Service / handling charges (SHC)
- Environmental levy (EL)
- National park and wildlife sanctuary fee (NPWSF) (if applicable)
- Professional filming fee (PFF) in the parks and sanctuaries (if applicable)
Payable to Indian Mountaineering Foundation
- Peak Royalty
This is the cost of getting a permit for climbing in the region. Do not forget to budget for all other travel expenses, including accommodations, equipment, food, porters and transportation, to name but a few. The fees depend on the height of the peak and nationality of the mountaineer. Uttarakhand peaks are divided into three categories: > 7,001 meters, 6,501-7,000 meters and < 6,500 meters.
