The Sikkim Wildlife (Regulation of Trekking) Rules, 2005 contains seven rules. This document outlines guidelines for regulating trekking tourism in the state. The Rule 1 talks about the commencement, extent, and title. The definitions are listed in the next rule. The Rule 3 lists prohibited activities and responsibilities of the trek manager. The rules 4, 5, and 6 describe offences, penalties, and rewards. The last rule states that biodiversity, environment, forest, and wildlife related laws shall also apply to the trekking tourism besides Regulation of Trekking.
☛Since I have already discussed all the seven rules, it is time to do some assessment questions.
¡If you do not know answers of any of the questions, re-read rules and redo the quiz.
