Kun was the hot favorite Himalayan peak during the study period, because the peak recorded the highest number of attempts (27). Foreign climbers attempted the peak twenty-one times (21 | 77.78%). The remaining six (6) attempts were made by Indian mountaineers. All single-country foreign expeditions were from Europe.
