Guru Padmavajra, the precious teacher, is the leading master of Tantric Buddhism in the Himalaya. He defeated local deities and demons with the power of ritual dances.
The tantric teacher from India repackaged the earliest shamanic dances and created Buddhist versions. He introduced and promoted Buddhism into Tibet during 8th century.
Sixteen (16) dakinis enter the stage. Each dakini holds a damru and bell.
The entourage walks around the arena and performs the rituals before each member takes the seat in the arena and the dance drama begins.
