The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) organizes and supports high altitude trekking, mountaineering, and rock climbing and skiing expeditions. IMF hosts National Sport Climbing Competition every year and offers equipment on rent. All mountaineering expeditions to the Indian Himalayas have to fulfill terms and conditions laid by the foundation, including a royalty fee for peak climbing.
